The largest bank of Tajikistan "International Bank of Tajikistan" has launched NFC Wallet in IBT24 mobile application, using which the bank's clients will be able to pay for goods and services, using a smartphone on Android OS, without pulling out their bank card. The NFC Wallet is integrated with VTS (Visa Token Service) using software complexes DSP Issuer and DSP FastTack by CARTSYS LLC.
DSP ISSUER is a solution for managing digital wallets using HCE technology, which provides interaction with cloud-based tokenization services. With the Issuer Wallet Server, mobile wallets send token creation or token management requests to cloud-based VTS (Visa Token Service) tokenization services. Issuer Wrapper SDK is integrated into the bank's mobile app and communicates with the Issuer Wallet Server.
The IBT24 digital wallet provides opportunities:
- digitize payment cards;
- securely store the data used to conduct a transaction without storing bank card data in the phone;
- to manage the full life cycle of digitized cards;
- support multiple digitized cards on the same device or on different client devices;
- blocking all digitized cards in case of loss of the phone;
- protection against unauthorized use with a fingerprint or password.
The DSP FastTack component supports the token lifecycle and provides card tokenization technology for e-commerce.
DSP FastTack component also supports integration with international payment services: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swatch Pay, Garmin Pay, Samsung Pay, FITBIT_Pay. One of these payment systems, namely Garmin Pay, IBT Bank has already presented to its customers. Active lifestyle enthusiasts can now make contactless payments with the Garmin sports smartwatches.
In the future, when the payment systems Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. are supported in Tajikistan, the bank will be able to use the already implemented DSP FastTack software package to launch these payment systems quickly and efficiently. The implementation of such a project can be performed in a very short time.
