Google Pay and Apple Pay mobile payment service became available for Piraeus Bank customers. From now on, the bank's cardholders can make contactless payments using their smartphones or smartwatches in the trade and service network and transport around the world.

To implement this service, Piraeus Bank together with Cartsys integrated banking systems with VTS tokenization services. For this purpose, the DSP FastTack module of the Mobile Application Platform by Cartsys was integrated into the bank's systems.

To start using the service, cardholders need to have a smartphone with Android or IOS operating system with built-in NFC module and add VISA card from Piraeus Bank to Google Pay or Apple Pay application.
